SO sorry you're having car woes. I know the feeling you're talking about; wanting to be seen as an adult by our parents. As a parent of adult children, it has begun to occur to me that maybe the judgemental voice/tone I heard from my parents was less them and more me. I know that I love my children and am proud of them, always, and chances are our parents feel the same way. Good luck with it all.
