We have been fostering this lovely, feisty, snuggly dog for almost 6 weeks! We have been torn about finding him a 'forever home' or keeping him in our family. Tonight, we met the most wonderful couple! Their dog passed away 3 weeks ago, and they are so sad. They met Otis, and it was love at first snuggle! I hope that this is his home! They all seem so happy together.

you are a strong family, and i for one am thankful there are those who can foster. i am a weakling. thanks for all of us who love our furry friends.
Doing the foster home for dogs thing is so very nice. I'm sure Otis enjoyed six weeks with you so much more than the pound - a place he may not end up leaving if a forever home doesn't happen quickly enough.
But Rocco would have a problem with attachment anxiety - so keep to the sane breeds of dogs!
